2011 is marked with great promise. Maybe the better word is "opportunity". We have two fabulous new board members who have the skills and outreach crucial to the work we do: Dr. Emma Oshagan, well known in the Armenian community, and Gerry Lewis, with forty years of expertise gained as a Tournament of Roses member. Once again, our volunteers are filling the spots paid staff occupy in other organizations. We are blessed to have Yvette Thomas, Administrative Assistant, who has 20 years experience in Corporate America. Yvette is the CTO we've never had.
Our 2010 "Back Story" celebration of 16 years on the tube was a great success thanks to the hard work of board members. What a success! From the over 25 people who attended, two of them followed up by determining we were an organization worthy of their talents. Both Emma and Gerry attended the event held at the City of Pasadena TV station. Next time, we hope you will find time to join us.
